    There are many documents that we take for granted every day that are subject to document fraud.

    Graduation certificates, mortgage documents, legal documents, employment contracts, medical certificates, insurance contracts, and these are just a handful of many documents subject to fraudulent activity around the world each year.

    For example, unqualified doctors and surgeons have been trusted in the past to provide professional services to patients. These unqualified doctors who provided fake certifications to their employers to a get a job, cost people their lives as a result. Another example has been when an insurance claim has been turned down, due to the insurer changing a policy without notifying the client.

    VeriDoc Global has developed a verification system that intends to stop these fraudulent activities, with the use of Blockchain technology and smart contracts. Our unique solution allows you to verify that the document you are looking at, is the true document that was created by the issuer.

    SOLUTION

    VeriDoc Global has developed a solution that involves embedding a QR code on an item with a unique digital hash inside the QR code. The hash holds a string of information that is then placed on the blockchain network for security, verification and most important end user validation. Using a QR code reading app, customers can scan the QR code on the item once it has been delivered to them to verify the authenticity of items.

    Throughout the shipping process, the QR code can be updated with information verifying when and where the product has changed hands. Using any QR code reading app, scan the QR code on the pharmaceuticals and the app will show you the true document produced by the issuer. This allows you to compare and see if the pharmaceuticals is an original or a fake.
